Posting On Facebook

It doesn’t take ‘balls’ or ‘courage’, or ‘strength’ to post stuff on face book.

Face book allows you to say anything you wish whenever you wish with no consequences. Not personal. No accountability.

It is just like wearing a mask. You can hide behind it and do and say things you wouldn’t normally say or do face to face or in person. And who do you think you are going to change by what you post? Nobody. They are all doing the same thing as you when it comes to their views and beliefs and hiding behind their face book/masks too!
It is SO easy to put stuff on face book rather than to actually stand for what you are posting or what you think you might believe in, in real life! You may change your beliefs if you have to actually put into practice what you are running your mouth about on face book.

WE ARE NOT QUARANTINED!

We are not quarantined. I wish people would stop referring to what we are doing as a quarantine…..
If we were quarantined, we would not be allowed to go to the grocery store, drug store, or anywhere else for that matter. A ‘Stay at Home Order’ is a lot different than a quarantine.

Quarantine…. a strict isolation imposed to prevent the spread of disease.
a period, originally 40 days, of detention or isolation imposed upon ships, persons, animals, or plants on arrival at a port or place, when suspected of carrying some infectious or contagious disease.
Stay At Home Order… is an order from a government authority to restrict movements of a population/people to stay at home as much as possible, but make exceptions to go out for medical care, food, and essential work.

I don’t want to be quarantined! I would much rather be ordered to ‘stay at home’.

Noah’s Family was under a lockdown/quarantine.
40 days, 40 nights in the Ark, Noah's family was confined in a boat. There were no windows, no balconies, no terrraces. They only heard the rain. They spend their time praying, loving each other and caring for the animals. God the father took care of them as Noah was a man of faith and obeyed His word. Remember even though there is out there an ocean of viruses and life seems like a stormy ride, Our God is watching over us! Do not be Afraid! Be faithful to Him and wait patiently. The rain will stop one day. A rainbow will shine and all be well again.

I am anxiously waiting for God’s rainbow promise after this storm of virus.

Family

Family

It is a shame that my family cannot put aside their bickering and selfishness for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter let alone get together like we used to “just because”. Nobody will even put forth an effort to be a family and come together like God intended and the way it used to be. What happened to the love we used to have for each other? Where is the togetherness? Mom, Aunt Wanda, and Uncle Bill would be very upset if they knew what was happening in our family. It saddens me and breaks my heart that we have let go of each other so easily. He said she said…… NOTHING should be unforgivable, especially between family! I even quit coming so the rest of the family could gather without me being in the way. Seems not too many want to talk to me. I feel like I was the cause for some reason that is totally unknown to me. Nobody will say why they won’t talk to who! And they still refuse to even TRY to be a family. Is it really that easy for them to let go of family and never to talk to them or be around them again???

With school starting again now in 2019, I just would like to ask that EVERYONE be more aware of School Buses and the kids that use them to get back and forth to school.
There are kids getting on or off and they aren't always the best at watching for traffic. PLEASE do YOUR part in watching for the kids.
THEIR LIVES ARE IN YOUR HANDS EVERY TIME THEY GET ON OR OFF THE BUS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU
STOP IN ALL LANES
FOR A STOPPED SCHOOL BUS.

Face Book

I signed up for a different social media and posted on face book for my 'friends' to come join me. I didn’t figure the new social media would actually work out. The devil has so many people wrapped up in face book and thinking that is the only way to go. Our information is tracked. We are tracked when we are not on face book by face book. If you don’t think so, search for some things and wait to see how long it takes to come up in the advertising on your page. The devil has people so afraid they are going to miss something on face book that they cannot leave it alone. They are addicted to it. And just exactly what will you miss? People don’t use it to communicate. They use it to talk about me, me, me….. No too many of your ‘friends’ really care what you post. It is amazing how much negativity is put out there. And people like it! You can say and do whatever you want with no repercussions, accountability, or personal interaction. It takes away the face to face, the humanness. It makes it easier to be uncaring and harder to really communicate. I
pray that people’s eyes are opened to see the real things that are taking place. We need to be careful what path we choose to walk down. If we choose to stay on face book, we need to be careful where it leads us.

Conversation in the Womb – A Parable of Life After Delivery

Conversation in the Womb – A Parable of Life After Delivery

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: "Do you believe in life after delivery?" The other replied, "Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later."

"Nonsense" said the first. "There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?"

The second said, "I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now."

The first replied, "That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded."

The second insisted, "Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore."

The first replied, "Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere."

"Well, I don’t know," said the second, "but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us."

The first replied "Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?"

The second said, "She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist."

Said the first: "Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist."

To which the second replied, "Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above."

LOVE

"Love is an action, not a feeling. Love is a choice. In fact, love is a commandment."
~ Mack Timberlake

I have been thinking about this for the past couple of weeks. {I love confirmation from God}God commanded us to love each other. That love is not the warm fuzzy love that you think of when the word comes to mind. It is compassion, forgiveness, mercy giving, caring for your fellow humans. God loves each of us, unconditionally, no matter who we are. That doesn't mean we get a free pass to Heaven. He still hates our sin. We ALL sin. But, I believe, if we try our best to turn from our sin and sinful ways, He will help us if we ask. So I challenge each of you {and I challenge me too} to try loving our neighbor as ourselves. Be kind to others. Don't jump to conclusions, anger, or hate. Treat others the way you would want them to treat you if you made the same mistake that they did.

In Matthew 22:39, Jesus said, commanded,   "And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
You SHALL. That was not a request. It was a command. Try it, you might like it. I believe we will be blessed for it.

God Loves You

We don't have to be perfect to come to God and accept Him as our Lord and Savior. All we have to do is know and believe that Jesus Christ was God's son and He was born, lived as a pattern for us to follow, was crucified on the cross, was buried and rose 3 days later to ascend to heaven and be seated at the right hand of God. Just come to Him. Accept Him. Ask Him to come into your heart and life. Love Him. Live your life for Him and He will do the rest. God loves you just the way you are, but too much to leave you that way. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. He loves you and me, period. But, you can be lost. God loves the lost the same as those who love Him in return. God doesn't want you to be lost. And neither do I. He wants to save you from hell. But He is a gentleman. He will not force you. It is up to you to decide where you want to spend eternity.

Romans 3:23-26  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

And Jesus said these following things......

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 6:37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

Luke 19:10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Luke 5:32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.

Won't you consider choosing Christ as your Savior. Please think about how much He loves you and wants His best for you. We don't have to be perfect, just willing.
